See the future, seaweed
Come and join Duncan to explore the edible seashore on a fun foraging foray, where you will learnabout the inter tidal zone, any wildlife we happen to see and of course about which seaweeds are good to eat!
We are looking to start harvesting relatively small amounts of different species of edible seaweed from the clear Atlantic waters of the Firth of Lorn, ideal for restaurants and artisan food producers or natural beauty products.
If you are interested in harvesting any seaweeds or looking into culturing seaweed then we are available to offer the knowledge and skills you will need. Duncan has experience in culturing four species of macroalgae as well as a science background including statistical analysis and working in exposed marine conditions.
